Grief is something that everyone experiences at various times in our lives. For some it is the death of a loved one, for others it is a great loss of something hoped or planned for. Grief can be overwhelming, raw, and overpowering. It can bring you to a halt in your life and make it impossible to move forward. When you find yourself too raw or frozen with your grief, we are here to help. At Rose Haven Counseling we know that the people and plans in your life are incredibly important and meaningful to you. We honor your loss and pain and realize that pain does not simply disappear, yet your capacity to bear it can grow.
Our society often struggles with understanding grief and how to help each other. Well-meaning individuals offer words to comfort but many times those words seem hurtful instead of helpful. This can cause us to feel alone in our grief which makes it all the more difficult to move forward.
Here at Rose Haven Counseling, we know that grieving is painful and so very lonely. We sit beside you in your grief so you do not feel so alone. We provide the space for you to talk about your lost loved one or dream. We help you identify ways of honoring your loss and ways to start moving forward with your grief.
