Relationships are Difficult
All relationships experience challenges throughout their course. Some challenges are easy to face together, but others leave us at odds with each other. Whether you have a rocky start to your relationship or you have been together for decades but still hit an impasse, these challenges can be heartbreaking. During these times you may feel lonely, depressed, anxious, or angry more frequently. At Rose Haven Counseling we believe all relationships take work but through that work, you can feel more connected and loved again. We also know that every relationship is different and you need unique solutions to the challenges your relationship is facing; there is no one-size-fits-all fix.
Our Couple's Counseling
At Rose Haven Counseling we support you and the relationships in your life. We take the time to listen to both parties and understand the history and context of your impasse(s). We work to increase empathy and attachment by exploring the history of your relationships and how previous hurts might be influencing your current relationship strain. We focus on increasing healthy communication by teaching skills. We work to increase the expression of thoughts and feelings of both partners to air stuffed emotions that irritate the relationship. We help parents with parenting questions and impasses to find a better alignment between partners concerning parenting.
